  • 6 small bananas, peeled, halved
  • ¼ cup chopped macadamia nuts, toasted
  • ¼ cup chopped pistachio kernels, toasted
  • 200g dark or milk chocolate, chopped

  1. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Insert sticks into banana pieces. Place on baking tray, cover with plastic and freeze for 30-60 minutes.
  2. Place macadamia and pistachio in separate shallow bowls. Place chocolate in a small heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Stir with a metal spoon for 5 minutes or until melted and smooth.
  3. Partially dip banana pieces into the chocolate to coat, allowing excess to drip off. Gently roll 6 of the bananas pieces in macadamia and 6 in pistachio. Return to tray. Freeze for 10 minutes.
