In light of the recent change in COVID-19 alert levels Free Fruit for Kids has temporarily been removed from the following stores Glen Eden, Half Moon Bay, Mangere Bridge, Otahuhu, Ranui & Waimauku. We appreciate your support and understanding.
Free Fruit for Kids
Hopefully visiting the shops isn't a ‘challenging experience' for you but just in case it is, grab a bit of healthy relief and let them munch on a apple or banana (or whatever seasonal fruit is available). Just look for the Free Fruit for Kids poster in the produce section of your local FreshChoice supermarket. All the fruit that you'll find there is free to give to your wee ones at absolutely no cost at all (there will also be bins nearby in case any piece of fruit meets a quick end).
Kids playing sport?
If your children are playing a sport in the weekend and you would like fruit for them to eat at no cost to you, put in an application for a FreshChoice Community Fund grant of free fruit and we may be able to help you with that as well. You can apply for a grant by visiting your local FreshChoice and filling out an application form (perhaps keep the wee ones distracted with a few pieces of fruit while you are filling in the form) or else visit the FreshChoice Community Fund page and download a form, you would need to print it out and bring it in with you.
