Your platter just got a whole lot better with these vegan-friendly crackers. Packed with a selection of nourishing seeds this recipe is sure to be the new family favourite!

  • 200g cornmeal flour
  • 75g sunflower seeds
  • 50g flaxseeds
  • 50g sesame seeds
  • 50g pumpkin seeds
  • 11/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp garlic/garlic powder (optional)
  • 250ml boiling water
  • 50ml olive oil

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together.
  2. Stir in the olive oil and then pour in the hot water, mix well.
  3. Put half of the mixture on a sheet of baking paper on the oven tray, cover with a second piece of baking paper and use a rolling pin over the top to flatten out to desired thickness. These are easier to break when thin.
  4. Bake at 160°C, check after 30 minutes – take out when golden brown.
