Healthier Sesame Beef Stir-Fry

This recipe teams grass-fed beef strips with veggies and rice for a tasty and healthier dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Macro Organic brown rice
- 1/4 cup salt-reduced soy sauce
- 2 tsp Macro Organic honey
- 500g Macro Grass Fed Australian beef stir-fry
- 1 tbs cornflour
- 1 tbs Macro Organic Spanish extra virgin olive oil
- 1 large Macro Organic brown onion, thinly sliced into rounds
- 2cm piece Macro Organic ginger, finely grated
- 1 large Macro Organic green capsicum, halved, deseeded, thickly sliced
- 1 bunch Macro Organic kale, leaves picked, roughly chopped
- 1 tbs sesame seeds, toasted
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Method
- Cook rice following packet instructions.
- Combine soy sauce, honey and 1/4 cup water in a small jug. Set aside.
- Toss beef and cornflour in a medium bowl until beef is evenly coated. Heat half of the olive oil in a large wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat. Stir-fry beef, in 3 batches, for 3 minutes or until browned. Transfer beef to a bowl and cover to keep warm. Heat remaining olive oil in wok. Stir-fry onion, ginger and capsicum for 2 minutes or until onion has just softened. Return beef to wok with soy mixture and kale. Stir-fry for 2 minutes or until sauce has thickened and kale has wilted. Stir in sesame seeds and sesame oil.
- Serve stir-fry with rice.
