Give an old favourite a different spin as spiral-cut cucumber comes to life courtesy of almonds, coriander and a twin chilli assault.


  • 2 continental cucumbers, halved crossways
  • 1/4 bunch coriander, leaves picked
  • 2 tbs slivered almonds, toasted
  • 1 tbs sesame seeds, toasted
  • 2 tsp dried chilli flakes
  • 1 tbs chilli oil
  • 1 tbs sesame oil

  1. Using a spiraliser, cut cucumber into long spirals.
  2. Arrange cucumber and coriander on a serving plate. Sprinkle with almonds, sesame seeds and chilli flakes. Drizzle with chilli oil and sesame oil. Serve.
