Char Siu Pork Burgers With Crunchy Slaw
Barbecued pork, crunchy slaw and sriracha mayo on a sesame brioche bun. Make these incredible cheat's char siu pork burgers in just 3 steps and 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 560g Chinese BBQ style pork with char siu sauce
- 1/4 red cabbage, finely shredded
- 1 carrot, coarsely grated
- 1 spring onion , thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 4 sesame seed brioche buns, split, toasted
- 1/3 cup sriracha mayonnaise
- 1 Lebanese cucumber, peeled into ribbons
Method
- Cook pork according to microwave instructions on packet, discarding cooking liquid after heating. Using forks, coarsely shred pork. Stir through sauce from packet.
- Meanwhile, combine cabbage, carrot, onion, oil and lemon juice in a large bowl. Season.
- Spread bun bases with mayonnaise. Top with slaw, shredded pork and cucumber. Sandwich with bun tops and serve.
