Char Siu Pork Burgers With Crunchy Slaw

Barbecued pork, crunchy slaw and sriracha mayo on a sesame brioche bun. Make these incredible cheat's char siu pork burgers in just 3 steps and 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 560g Chinese BBQ style pork with char siu sauce
  • 1/4 red cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 carrot, coarsely grated
  • 1 spring onion , thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 4 sesame seed brioche buns, split, toasted
  • 1/3 cup sriracha mayonnaise
  • 1 Lebanese cucumber, peeled into ribbons

Method

  1. Cook pork according to microwave instructions on packet, discarding cooking liquid after heating. Using forks, coarsely shred pork. Stir through sauce from packet.
  2. Meanwhile, combine cabbage, carrot, onion, oil and lemon juice in a large bowl. Season.
  3. Spread bun bases with mayonnaise. Top with slaw, shredded pork and cucumber. Sandwich with bun tops and serve.
