Classic Mint Sauce
Minty, sharp and just a touch sweet this homemade mint sauce pairs beautifully with tender roast lamb.
Ingredients
- 1 bunch mint, leaves removed, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp caster sugar
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- Salt for seasoning
- Pepper for seasoning
Method
- Place mint, sugar and 1/2 cup boiling water in a jug. Stir until sugar dissolves. Add vinegar. Season. Stir until combined.
- Cover and chill for 30 minutes to allow flavours to infuse. Serve with lamb.
