Air-Fryer Chicken Wings With Buffalo Sauce

This chicken wing recipe makes for the ultimate air-fried dish. Toss with buffalo sauce and serve as a delicious side or starter. You won't stop at just one!

Ingredients

  • 1kg chicken wing nibbles
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 50g butter
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup yoghurt ranch dressing
  • 1 stalk celery (to serve)
  • 4 radish, quartered (to serve)
  • 4 Qukes baby cucumbers (to serve)
  • 1 pkt blanched snow peas (to serve)

Method

  1. Preheat air fryer to 180°C for 3 minutes. Place chicken in a large bowl. Sprinkle over baking powder, then toss to coat. Place chicken in basket. Slide pan and basket into appliance. Set timer for 30 minutes. Cook, turning occasionally, or until golden and cooked through.
  2. During last 5 minutes of cooking, melt butter in a small frying pan over medium heat. Add sauces and sugar, then bring to the boil. Remove pan from heat.
  3. Transfer chicken to a large bowl, then add hot sauce mixture and toss to coat. Serve wings with ranch dressing, celery, radish, cucumber and snow peas.

Handy Tips

Instead of wing nibbles, You can use 1.25kg chicken wings. Cut off and discard wing tips, then cut the wings into 2 pieces through the joint.
