Grandma's Mince on Toast
Ingredients
- 1 Carrot
- 1 Onion
- 500g Premium Beef Mince
- 2-3 Tbsp Curry Powder
- 2 Tbsp Oxtail Soup Powder
- 2 Beef OXO Cubes/Dashida Powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Olive Oil
- Butter
Method
- Grate the carrot and onion.
- Sauté the grated carrot and onion in olive oil and butter for 6-8 minutes.
- Add the beef mince and fry for 6-8 minutes or until the beef is crumbled.
- Add the oxtail soup powder, OXO cubes or Dashida powder, curry powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook on medium-low heat for 45 minutes.
- Slice your favourite Grizzly bread (or thick white slice TipTop bread) and toast it.
- Cover the buttered toast with the cooked mince. Season with white pepper if available.
- Your Grandma's Mince Toast is ready to serve.
