October 2022 Recipients
Congratulations to our October Community Fund Recipients
FreshChoice Westport supported St Canices School ($250) and the Tasman Under 15's Boys Hockey team ($250).
FreshChoice Papamoa donated to the Mount Maunganui RSA $500, Riding for the Disabled $200, and Kura Kai $100.
FreshChoice Te Anau donated $100 to the Highland Dance Summer fling and $200 for the Fiordland Community Garden - 2 day workshop. $500 was also given to the Te Anau Cricket club so they could purchase playing gear.
FreshChoice Te Ngae gave $500 to the Rotokawa Rarotonga School trip.
FreshChoice Roslyn supported Rotary Dunedin - Saving the Tieke by donating $600.
FreshChoice Takaka donated $250 to the Golden Kids Inc Early Learning Centre and $250 to the Sustainable Living Centre.
FreshChoice Richmond presented Breast Cancer foundation with $200, the NZ College of Mental Health Nurses $50, New Zealand Sign Language Learners $100 and the Mini Motor Cross Champs event with $150.
FreshChoice Prebbleton contributed $200.00 to the Friends of Broadfield Primary School by selling Juicy's to raise money for special projects such as, Kapa Haka, and sports uniforms. $150.00 went to the Weedon/Rolleston Junior Cricket Team Kakapo to support their new junior team for the current season, so they can hold a sausage sizzle and build some team spirit. $150.00 also went to the Weedons Cricket Team Robins so their team could have half time fruit and juice.
FreshChoice Geraldine donated $500 to Woodbury School to help the fundraise for a Golf competition, prizes & food. $80 also went to Bellyful Geraldine Bakery lines for ongoing support.
FreshChoice Leamington donated $500 to the Cambridge Yacht and Motorboat Club.
FreshChoice Greytown presented the Greytown Bowling Club with $500.
FreshChoice Barrington gave $500 to the Christchurch City Mission.
FreshChoice Half Moon Bay supported the Lions Club by contributing $125.
FreshChoice Mangere Bridge gave $500 to the Fit for Life Training Group in Mangere Bridge.
FreshChoice Picton gave $868.52 to the Foodbank. Meat raffles worth $75.00 were donated to the Picton Senior Citizens Club. $150.00 was given to Envirohub Marlborough for the launch of their zero waste dishwashing trailer. A sausage sizzle fundraiser was held for the Kaipupu Sanctuary which raised $300.00. FreshChoice Picton supported the Waikawa Boating Club for the woman's sailing regatta by donating $600.00.
